About Universia
Universia was started in 1998 in the Bay Area in California.
The initial goal was to provide consulting in the area of
configuration management. The growing interest of that software
engineering discipline was fueled by the technology of the Web and
the worldwide collaboration on projects. Easy access to downloads
changed the model of shipping regular disks with update to a mode
where availability was immediate. Teams around the globe could also
work closer to deliver solution in a quick time to market.
In order to adapt to this new paradigm, many companies needed new Configuration Management tools, and even more a solid deployment and process to make the whole thing work.
Universia was called to help many Fortune 500 companies, and often ask to extend his services to deploy other software engineering tools, automated testing, ... In short, if it can be automated, we can do it for you. Our consultants all have 10+ years of experience in this type of work.
